Eastbourne’s
first adult netball club has been set up by Jemma Crawford and Samantha
Kennerson with the first
training session scheduled for 12th
January 2009 – we look forward to seeing you then!
Our clubs aim is to build a fun and friendly club which adults of all
ages and ability may join. We offer our club
members the opportunity to join the ENC (Eastbourne Netball Club) team
which is entered into the Eastbourne
Adult Netball League that takes place on Thursday evenings, giving
members a chance to put all those skills learnt
at training into practice.
Jemma Crawford, Club Captain
Jemma has played in the Eastbourne Adult Netball League over a period of 5 years. Jemma’s skills on court are predominantly in attack, playing confidently in a shooting position and centre court. Having a healthy competitive nature Jemma brings great tactics and dedication to the club. Jemma is an excellent organiser so club members can expect many opportunities to join in social and competitive events!
Samantha Kennerson, Club Captain
For
the past 3 years Samantha has played in the Eastbourne Adult Netball
League as well as in the Brighton Midweek League. Being a versatile
player Samantha has strengths in both defending and shooting
positions. With loads of enthusiasm and dedication; you can be sure
Samantha will provide all the encouragement needed to help you enjoy
keeping fit!
Tamla Sparks, Club Coach
At such a young age Tamla has a wealth of experience and achievements both as a player and coach. A proud member of Sussex’s netball club playing predominantly in a wing position, being a versatile player Tamla is also a confident shooter and centre court player. Tamla is a qualified umpire and coach, club members can expect fun, creative and dynamic training sessions for people of all levels of abilities to enjoy.
